Opening of the new NOVA University Lisbon campus in Mafra

NOVA MAFRA, a venue inaugurated on September 10, will be a space dedicated to research, training, innovation and creation. Housed in the National Palace of Mafra, the initiative forms part of the Institute of Art and Technology (IAT) at NOVA University Lisbon, a space where the arts, humanities, science and technology converge.

The project was initiated by CESEM and INET-md, research centres at NOVA FCSH dedicated to music studies.

The opening featured a concert by Músicos do Tejo, co-founded by Marcos Magalhães (Music in the Modern Period Group).
